The Baratza Sette 270 coffee grinder is the future of home coffee grinders.

A built-in rotating holder allows you to grind directly into your espresso machine portafilter handle, the supplied grounds bin, or directly into most of the popular brewing devices (Aeropress, Hario V60, Clever Dripper).

this differs from the Sette 30, where the forks are adjustable but they plug in & out individually, the Sette 270 forks rotate as a pair.

The Backlit LED digital display on the front of the Sette 270 allows the user to make 0.01 second adjustments to the grinding time, but the Sette 270 also allows you to store three programmable times for grinding. These combined features offer the user incredible repeatability. So between the intuitive adjustments to the tenth of a second and the 3 saved time settings allowing you to easily set a repeatable dose, the daily grind just got even easier and more consistent.

The Sette 270 grinds 3.5 to 5.5 grams per second, depending on roast and grind setting. The burrs are durable, and will remain sharp for many years.
Straight-thru vertical transports and grinding of the beans (highly efficient and results in minimal residual coffee in the system).
Rotation of the outer ring burr (with twice the surface area of the cone burr) along with proprietary tooth geometry, produces grinding thru-put that is two to three times that of others in its class.
Proprietary gear box (planetary + crown gear) that maximizes efficiency of torque transfer, resulting in lower power consumption and much less heat.
Powerful DC motor for maximum starting torque and efficiency, resulting in cooler operation.

Burrs: Manufactured by Etzinger, the Sette 270 is built with 40mm conical S1 burrs.

Digtal Control Panel: The Sette 270 has a simple front mounted control panel with easy to read backlit LED display. The user manually presets the grind time to within 0.1 seconds. Simply press the start button and the Sette automatically delivers precise dosing. The Sette 270 also allows the user to save 3 grind time settings.

Easy programmable buttons allow for grind time settings within 0.01 second and you can save up to 3 different dose preferences. The grind quality on the Sette 270 covers a wide breadth of styles and with the convenient convertible device you can go from grinding into your portafilter to grinding into the included anti-static bin or most of the popular single-cup brewing methods.
